Day #6 – The Will Power Diet

May 26

Ok, so this is harder than I thought. My first goal of the long list of goals was to not eat at night, or at least after 8pm. This has been a long time struggle for me and trying to overcome my bad timing of eating habits has proven to be a larger challenge than I had thought. It is one thing to write about it, it is another thing to actually do it.

I have not lost any weight in the past 6 days nor have I gained any. What I have acomplished though is when I have had a snack at night, the guilt has been building up, so I’m hoping eventually very soon it will get the best of me and I’ll break this pattern.

One interesting piece of advice I’ve learned about why I might continue to eat at night is because I’m staying up late. If I’m going to stay up later constantly and eat a full meal at supper time, let’s say 5:30, then sure, I’ll be hungry later on in the evening. So instead of going to bed at midnight each night, I might have to trim back my sleeping pattern to 10pm or when I begin to fight the urge to eat at night.

Next step would be for me to actually start eating breakfast. I always skip breakfast. No matter how much exercise I do or how well I eat during the day, I feel that it is much more important at this point to change my eating habits of when I eat. This plays a larger role on why I’m not losing the weight as fast as I want.

I’m still hesitant about the “Fat Burning Furnace” program. Curiosity got the best of me, I followed the link and went through the 10min + video. There are some good points he makes about weight loss and sounds convincing enough to purchase his product. When I get a few bucks saved up, I just might purchase it and let you all know how it works out for me. Until then.. Will Power is the plan!
